It was in late 1980's when my husband Emet and I joined a running training at Quezon City Circle. At the end of our training, we were to pass 21.5 kilometers. So our running group enrolled us at a sponsored 21.5 run. I was very happy to finish Gold in my age group. Thereafter, we continued to join fun runs during weekends.

But five years ago, I was diagnosed with renal failure. This put a stop to my running exercises. It was during that time that a friend approached me and introduced E. Excel and Nutritional Immunology by Dr. Jau-Fei Chen. It was a bold step but I took the opportunity to use E. Excel's products, especially Millennium, while I was still subject to my doctor's recommended operations. For more than five years now I have been eating E. Excel nutritional foods and this helped me recover easily. Soon after, I was declared cancer free.

Since then, I've enjoyed not just the products, but also the opportunity of being an E. Exceller by joining several activities and trainings. Through these, I can share my experiences and help motivate other people to overcome their own personal challenges. That is also why I did not hesitate to register for the "Race to 15" fun run event organized by E. Excel at the start of this year. I took it as a challenge to see how my newly recovered health would react to such physical activity.

A month before the fun run, I decided to re-train in running so that I may be able to finish the race. Millennium, ACT, Refresh, Triflora, Concenergy, 1-Shape and along with Evernew, Nutrifresh have been my sources of strength. I was so happy when I finished the race just like before.

Five years ago, I would never have thought that I would run again. I have been proven wrong. And so I give my thanks to God for giving us Dr. Jau-Fei Chen and E. Excel for the discovery of Nutritional Immunology and the development of nutritionally superior products to help nourish our immune system.

MY FIRST SECOND-PLACE

Running is not really a favorite activity of my family. The only one who appreciates it is my father, and that is because of his previous military training. My brother and I love dancing. As for my mother and my sister, I don't know if they have even heard the word RUN! So, it came as a surprise when one day my mother excitedly announced that she registered for the Fun Run organized by E. Excel and asked if anyone else was interested. I am currently enrolled as a fourth year Communication student at the University of the Philippines in Baguio City, and I was home for summer then. I was well aware that while on vacation, it was so easy to gain weight. So, I thought, why not? I wanted to lose weight. I signed up. Then I learned that it was a contest and winners will win cash prizes. My thoughts began to run wild. Hey, I wanted to win! Four more members of the family signed up including my father, my aunt and my cousins, and guess what; they all wanted to win the race!

But with the short preparation time (I signed up 2 weeks before the event), my mother began to worry that I might have an asthma attack if I physically exhaust myself into this whole thing. So to strengthen my lungs, and of course my stamina, she gave me Celebration Powder Beverage which I took in the morning and evening time, together with other products that I have been eating regularly.

The day of reckoning came, and as we arrived at the venue, I immediately felt intimidated by other runners. They looked toned and athletic. I sighed. It seemed like I had no chance of winning.

The countdown began. Ten, nine, eight, seven…My heart was pounding very fast. Three, two, one… Bang! Everybody started sprinting as if it was a 100 meter dash rather than a 3K run! I intended to start the race slowly but not wanting to be left behind I ended up dashing with everybody else. Everything went by too fast. In a flash, the lead pack was almost out of sight. But as expected, the runners' speed started to slow down one by one. I kept my pace. It is said that a great victory is made up of little victories. As I approached a corner, I passed by five women runners, one at a time. At another turn, I passed by my father, and then, my cousin. Yes! At the last turn, I overheard somebody saying,"Bilisan mo, isang babae pa lang ang nakarating dun." I started sprinting and screaming and pushing some more, I could barely feel my legs. I couldn't believe it. I just won second place for the 3K race!

The thing that surprised me the most was my endurance. I'm not an athletic person. Growing up, I was a very weak child, with constant trips to the hospital due to asthma. I witnessed how my mother struggled to take care of me and my brother because both of us had frequent asthma attacks. Being introduced to E. Excel's Nutritional Immunology helped a lot in the improvement of our health.

The E. Excel fun run was my first, but definitely it is not my last, because fun run is FUN! It is light and easy – there are no special equipments necessary. It fosters healthy competition among family members and friends.

Milagros' miracle

Milagros Sicat was just a few steps away from having her feet amputated by the doctor when her daughter decided to look for other options to help her recover from diabetes.

For 16 years, Milagros dealt with the pain and discomfort of being a diabetic. Her daughter was fortunate though to have caught up with a relative who shared with them about Nutritional Immunology and recommended E. Excel products. At the Top of His Lungs

Testimony by Andres Dela Cruz

"It's time to see the doctor," Andres dela Cruz finally said to his wife after three days of unrelenting high fever. His body already hit 40 degrees Celsius and he began losing weight because of excessive perspiration. At the hospital, Andres, though feverish, felt the waiting room turn cold when the doctor gave his diagnosis. A battery of tests revealed that Andres had an enlarging tumor in his lungs which had started to contaminate his blood. The doctor was forthright. "Andres, you have lung cancer and only have six months to live," he said.

Andres' health deteriorated further in the days that followed. He became rail-thin and his coughing parched his throat to a very painful level. Hope was almost lost for Andres until Carmen Chan, a relative who is an E. Exceller, took immediate action. Educating Andres on the importance of having a strong immune system in fighting any ailment, Carmen advised him to try Millennium, Nutriact, NOCO and ACT as these were products known to be ideal for his condition. Andres took a chance on the products.

"I can't take it anymore!" was Andres' cry, at that point when the products started to strengthen his body's natural army. To appease him, Carmen explained that his vomiting and prickly lungs were just a temporary phase anyone who has his illness has to go through. At the brink of giving up, Andres took courage from what Carmen said and soon felt the temporary phase come to an end.

When opportunity knocks

Every opportunity that comes across my way is a great help for me and being a widow requires me to double my time and effort to work for my children to give them a quality life.

I was so blessed to know E. Excel through my sister Imelda, as well as my friends, Ms. Carmen Chan and Ms. Zeny Cabote. At first I ignored them, but due to their persistent follow-ups and encouragement, I gave in to their invitation. I attended different trainings, and one of which was the Power Weekend Program. I was so amazed on how E. Excel could change the lives of people if they will just follow the science of Nutritional Immunology as well as the system in building the business. From then on, I re-assessed my goals in life and decided to dedicate myself to the E. Excel mission of sharing the gift of health and knowledge with mankind.

At first I only tried a few of the products. I had experienced several asthma attacks for many years way back, but after eating the products like NOCO, Refresh, Triflora and ACT, they stopped almost completely. Since then I was so excited to share it to my circle of friends, family and associates. Three months after my registration with E. Excel in 2005, I became a Master and was able to qualify for the local incentive tour, together with my three downlines. That was a very enjoying and fulfilling experience. E. Excel is an exceptional company. Admittedly though, the networking business is not a "bed of roses". As my E. Excel business continued, I faced a lot of challenges and hardships. I did not give up and refused to offer myself excuses, I kept on doing the business inspite of its ups and downs. Even though many people advised me to give up this career, I believe that as long as I persisted and with determination I would reap the fruits of my hard work someday.

My career in E. Excel has changed my lifestyle in many ways. Helping people discover the excellence of Nutritional Immunology to achieve optimum health is a fulfilling reward. Through E. Excel, I was also able to help those people suffering from cancer. Those people who believed in me became my inspiration like my family, my downlines and uplines. It only takes words to give up but it takes a lifetime of hardwork and perseverance to accomplish our goal, so I never gave up until in 2009, I reached the Gold Master rank.

E. Excel has always provided numerous opportunities for its distributors, be it a chance to travel, a business opportunity and financial freedom. It has given us the assurance and proven to us that consistency and hard work always pays off in the end. And I believe that with my hard work and dedication, I will definitely reap the fruits of my labor. This became a reality when I was included in the Malaysia-Singapore Incentive tour last June 25 - July 1. The rewards in E. Excel are incomparable. All the efforts I put in have been worthwhile.

True Calling

Romula, or Romy to her family and friends, just loves to work. She never showed any signs of slowing down even after she obligatorily retired from her position as chief accountant in a private corporation. "I was an employee for thirty years who just didn't want to quit," Romy admits. As it seems, all those years of committed service wasn't enough to burn her out that she still willingly accepted to do contractual work for the corporation. To top her flourishing career, Romy also periodically helped her husband and daughter supervise their family's trading business. Romy, evidently, never experienced being in financial deprivation; her drive for continually working is not to earn more, but to simply make other people's lives easier by putting their finances in order.

Satisfied with her responsibilities, Romy never dreamt of taking up another career, until she and her family started to enjoy the health benefits of E. Excel products. It was in those moments that Romy started to take notice of the company she has been a member of since 2004. Romy, eventually, did take another career. The only difference is that now, her career – or what she refers to as her calling – is actually putting people's health and lifestyle in order through the mission of Nutritional Immunology. "I was impressed when I first heard that there is such a science that can radically change someone's life," recalls Romy.

Being the fastidious lady that she is when it comes to profit and gain, Romy looks deeply into the financial stability and marketing strategy of a company she involves herself in, and she's glad to find E. Excel to be sound in both areas. Romy also knows that with the unflagging commitment Dr. Chen has in developing the products and marketing plan of E. Excel, she can be confident that E. "At present, I have a growing number of downlines in Batac, Ilocos Norte, and Marikina City," Romy proudly says, "and was able to travel outside the country for the first time by qualifying for the incentive trip to Hong Kong last year." Romy could have easily considered her Hong Kong trip to be the best thing that has happened to her in E. Excel so far, but when she got awarded as Gold Master in the recent Circle of Achievers, she realized that being recognized on stage is equally momentous and thrilling as stepping in a foreign land.

People easily see Romy as someone who is meek because of her self-effacing character. This perception, however, changes almost instantly the minute she talks about her values at work. "Strive to succeed, be patient and never compromise your integrity," Romy says in a firm voice. There is nothing mild about these values, because for Romy, they will allow any working man, including the one who works to change lives through Nutritional Immunology, to run and not go weary – even way past retirement.

Always On-Call

Testimony by Dr. Mildred Paragas

Whoever said that dentists generally spend their day worrying only about other people's tooth decay and gingivitis has probably never been inside the office of Dr. Mildred Paragas or, at least, had no chance to know the genteel doctor on a personal level. Unknown to most of her patients, Dr. Paragas was once miles away from getting even close to the kind of life a normal dentist should have. "I had to juggle my time between work and taking care of my mother who's afflicted with colorectal cancer and my brother who's suffering from a ruthless rheumatoid arthritis," confides Dr. Paragas. A full-time dentist in one of the country's government agencies, Dr. Paragas severely felt the great strain of her predicament on her health and finances.

Like many who are under the same situation, her mother joined countless multilevel marketing companies touting herbal products that promised immense financial rewards and physical wellness. Sadly, however, Dr. Paragas soon lost her interest and confidence in herbal products, because the very companies that she and her mother took a chance with only took her money instead of the pain her mother felt.

"Oh no, not another MLM company," Dr. Paragas cried out the moment her mother registered in E. Excel and coerced her to do the same in 2005 just to get discounted products. Gratefully, Dr. Paragas never had the same problems with E. Excel as what she used to have with other companies. For Dr. Paragas, the products of E. Excel will always remain to be incomparable because they have changed her understanding about herbal products, and most of all, helped alleviate her mother's and brother's ailments.

Actually, it wasn't the only thing that changed; Dr. Paragas' view about doing MLM business also underwent a major transformation, and it all started with her visit to one of the E. Excel branches. "Finding a warm and friendly atmosphere at the office, I found myself going there every week," confesses Dr. Paragas. With her deep love for attending trainings, her knowledge grew and her enthusiasm for sharing the business consequently became more irrepressible. Soon, Dr. Paragas surprised herself when she found out that there was a burgeoning network under her name. "I couldn't believe I became a Master and qualified for a local tour the same month I registered," Dr. Paragas recalls. After two successive years of continuously studying Nutritional Immunology and sharing it to friends, relatives and patients, she bagged two of the highest awards given during the Circle of Achievers – the Silver Master award in 2006 and the Gold Master award in 2007.

With a significant amount of her time invested in doing E. Excel, Dr. Paragas isn't a bit worried if she actually has to spend more time in the E. Excel office than in her clinic. She, after all, now gets rebates that allow her to live more comfortably and has taken upon a bigger responsibility. Her work is no longer limited to the four corners of her clinic; it's in every corner of the country. And her clients are no longer limited to those who desire a better smile; it's basically everyone who seeks to have a better life.

Retire In Style

After four decades as a public school teacher, Norma Constantino finally decided to call it quits. It wasn't a decision impelled by any serious reason, nor by a longing to go on a luxurious cruise or to open a cafeteria. All that Norma wanted to do after years of dedicated teaching service was to finally enjoy life with her family. Norma, however, didn't realize that when she joined E. Excel her uncomplicated retirement plan would suddenly become grand – even free!

Norma has always believed that enthusiasm is one of the most powerful engines of success. "When you do something, do it well with all your might," Norma quotes one of her favorite authors. If enthusiasm is the engine, then what could be the fuel that lets this engine perform to its peak? Norma knows exactly what it is, and it is no other than E. Excel – the only company that made her realize that being active and faithful brings any objective to fulfillment.

Losing herself in the majestic beauty of Hong Kong last November, Norma and her husband felt as though they were veterans in the E. Excel business, when in fact they were just starting to build their organization. For the adoring couple, this only proved that in E. Excel hard work pays off immensely. Norma just couldn't imagine that on top of the financial freedom she enjoys, she finally got the chance to visit a foreign land.

Magical! That is how Norma describes her five-day stay in Hong Kong, and she is not only talking about her visit in Disneyland. To walk the dirt-free roads and be dwarfed by the skyscrapers standing majestically on top of the mountain was a fantasy coming to life for Norma. She even ate like a queen who always had a buffet prepared for her every breakfast, lunch, and dinnertime.

Norma admits, though, that the joy she felt during her stay in Hong Kong would not have been complete if she went there without her husband and without her E. Excel family. It was through the support of her fellow E. Excellers that she developed an unfaltering devotion to the mission of changing lives through Nutritional Immunology, and as a result, her life changed as well.
