Always On-Call
Testimony by Dr. Mildred Paragas
Whoever said that dentists generally spend their day worrying only about other people’s tooth decay and gingivitis has probably never been inside the office of Dr. Mildred Paragas or, at least, had no chance to know the genteel doctor on a personal level. Unknown to most of her patients, Dr. Paragas was once miles away from getting even close to the kind of life a normal dentist should have. “I had to juggle my time between work and taking care of my mother who’s afflicted with colorectal cancer and my brother who’s suffering from a ruthless rheumatoid arthritis,” confides Dr. Paragas. A full-time dentist in one of the country’s government agencies, Dr. Paragas severely felt the great strain of her predicament on her health and finances.
Like many who are under the same situation, her mother joined countless multilevel marketing companies touting herbal products that promised immense financial rewards and physical wellness. Sadly, however, Dr. Paragas soon lost her interest and confidence in herbal products, because the very companies that she and her mother took a chance with only took her money instead of the pain her mother felt.
“Oh no, not another MLM company,” Dr. Paragas cried out the moment her mother registered in E. Excel and coerced her to do the same in 2005 just to get discounted products. Gratefully, Dr. Paragas never had the same problems with E. Excel as what she used to have with other companies. For Dr. Paragas, the products of E. Excel will always remain to be incomparable because they have changed her understanding about herbal products, and most of all, helped alleviate her mother’s and brother’s ailments.
Actually, it wasn’t the only thing that changed; Dr. Paragas’ view about doing MLM business also underwent a major transformation, and it all started with her visit to one of the E. Excel branches. “Finding a warm and friendly atmosphere at the office, I found myself going there every week,” confesses Dr. Paragas. With her deep love for attending trainings, her knowledge grew and her enthusiasm for sharing the business consequently became more irrepressible. Soon, Dr. Paragas surprised herself when she found out that there was a burgeoning network under her name. “I couldn’t believe I became a Master and qualified for a local tour the same month I registered,” Dr. Paragas recalls. After two successive years of continuously studying Nutritional Immunology and sharing it to friends, relatives and patients, she bagged two of the highest awards given during the Circle of Achievers – the Silver Master award in 2006 and the Gold Master award in 2007.
With a significant amount of her time invested in doing E. Excel, Dr. Paragas isn’t a bit worried if she actually has to spend more time in the E. Excel office than in her clinic. She, after all, now gets rebates that allow her to live more comfortably and has taken upon a bigger responsibility. Her work is no longer limited to the four corners of her clinic; it’s in every corner of the country. And her clients are no longer limited to those who desire a better smile; it’s basically everyone who seeks to have a better life.
