When The Splendid Seas Come A-Calling
Summer arrived like a dream for the qualified distributors of E. Excel as they finally awakened to their highly-anticipated adventure - sailing the seas of South East Asia. For six days on March 21-26, E. Excellers were beckoned to explore three magnificent countries in the region – Singapore; Penang, Malaysia; and Phuket, Thailand. The SuperStar Virgo of Asia’s most popular luxury cruise line, Star Cruises, served as their paradise in the middle of the blue waters. The incentive trip proved to be a much-deserved getaway for the distributors as they left their worries behind and relished a slice of luxurious living!

An Exotic Feast of the Senses
E. Excellers had an adrenalin-pumping day at Sentosa, where they rode the cable car, Luge and Skyride, hopped aboard the magnificent Tiger Sky Tower, and saw the Underwater World and 4D Magix. While Singapore is the paragon of cosmopolitan splendor, Penang and Phuket infused exotic and delightful treats. The distributors unboarded the ship on Day 3 and Day 4 to visit Malaysia and Thailand. Popularly known as the Pearl of the Orient, Penang was a marvelous sight for the E. Excellers. They went through an old section of Georgetown, Penang’s capital, with an interesting Trishaw ride. A visit to Wat Chayamankalaram, a temple that houses a reclining Buddha, provided another cultural experience. On Day 4, E. Excellers stepped on the world-famous town of Phuket, Thailand, and were instantly enthralled by its magical charm. Back home, the distributors only saw elephants at the zoo, but in Thailand they experienced how it is to ride on the giant but gentle animal! After the Elephant Ride at the Kinarree Entertainment Complex, they visited the Wat Chalong Temple and shopped for local products at Wang Talang.

Sailing with Style
E. Excellers pampered themselves with the first-class amenities of the colossal SuperStar Virgo. No dull moment was spent in the renowned luxury ship. There are sports and fitness facilities for fitness enthusiasts; spa, beauty salon and jacuzzi for relaxation; international shows, novelty acts, movies, karaoke and games that kept the distributors entertained. The Comedy & Juggling Show by Terry Parade, who performed exclusively for the Moulin Rouge in Paris, was just one of the scintillating shows for the Cruise passengers. Food was overflowing in the megaship, and E. Excellers indulged themselves at the Mediterranean Buffet, Bella Vista and The Pavillion restaurants.

A Night to Remember
E. Excellers dressed up for the Gala Dinner with the Captain on an extra special night in the Cruise. Cocktails were served while the distributors mingled with the cruise staff and the dashing Scandinavian captain. The evening was charged with national pride as the E. Excellers strutted their Filipiniana attire. The Best in Filipiniana Costume Award went to Mr. Jimy Fung for the gentlemen, while Ms. Yanie Lao was chosen as the winner among the ladies.

The Dream Cruise is an unforgettable chapter in the lives of the E. Excellers that they would want to savor over and over again. And with the help of hard work and sheer determination, it won’t be impossible for these moments to be repeated!
